Q. I have a samsung lcd tv with time warner cable. Every time i have to change the channel or turn on the tv, i have to use two remotes-the tv's and the time warner cable remote. How can i change it so that i just have to use one?
A. The easiest way, IMO, would be to program the cable remote to operate the TV. Many, if not most, TV remotes cannot be programmed to operate a cable box.

A. As i've never heard of Norcent I would imagine it is too odscure to have a code, but I could of course be wrong.

A. You arent clear about the cord but no matter,use a new cord the new TV has a shielded 3 prong cable for a reason.Run The new cord.If your talking about the TV side then its not even an option to use a 2 prong anyway.Sounds like samsung girl is absolutely right and other 2 answers are wrong thinking you mean the wall plug side not the TV side..
